Ox-eye Daisy
The Ox-eye Daisy is a perennial herb that grows to a height of up to 80 cm (31 inches). It has a creeping underground rhizome and hairy stems, with the largest leaves at the base of the plant measuring 4–15 cm (1+1⁄2–6 inches) long and about 5 cm (2 inches) wide. The leaves have up to 15 teeth or lobes on the edges and decrease in size up the stem. The plant bears up to three daisy-like flowers, each with 15-40 white petals surrounding yellow disc florets. The flowering occurs from May to October.
