White Bryony
White Bryony is a vigorous, herbaceous perennial vine known for its destructive potential as an invasive weed. It is monoecious but diclinous, with separate male and female flowers on the same plant. The vine has a tuberous yellow root and produces greenish-white flowers that are about 1 cm across. It also has long curling tendrils and palmately lobed leaves from which the flowers and fruit emerge. The fruit is a 1.5 cm berry that turns black as it ripens.
