Bellis perennis

Bellis perennis, commonly known as the daisy or English daisy, is a perennial herbaceous plant growing up to 20 centimeters in height. It features short creeping rhizomes and rosettes of small, rounded or spoon-shaped leaves that grow flat to the ground. The plant is known for its composite flowerheads, which are about 2 to 3 centimeters in diameter and consist of white ray florets often tipped with red, and yellow disc florets. The flowers exhibit heliotropism, following the position of the sun. It is often found in lawns and is difficult to eradicate by mowing, hence the term 'lawn daisy'.
