Summer savory is traditionally used in cooking, particularly in Atlantic Canada and Bulgaria. It is a key ingredient in herbes de Provence and is used to flavor grilled meats, barbecues, stews, and sauces. It has been used medicinally to treat symptoms such as cramps, stomach pains, nausea, and indigestion.
