Norway Spruce
The Norway spruce is a large, fast-growing evergreen coniferous tree that can reach heights of 35-55 meters and trunk diameters of 1 to 1.5 meters. It has downward-hanging branchlets and the largest cones among spruce species, measuring 9-17 cm long. The needles are dark green and blunt-tipped, with a quadrangular cross-section. The cones are initially green or reddish, maturing to brown after 5-7 months.
