Cotoneaster franchetii, also known as Franchet's cotoneaster or orange cotoneaster, is an evergreen or semi-evergreen shrub native to southwestern China and adjacent areas in Myanmar and Thailand. It grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall, with oval-acute leaves that are shiny green above and pubescent below. The flowers are produced in corymbs of 5-15, each with pink outer petals and white inner petals. The fruit is a red pome that is dispersed by fruit-eating birds.
