Norway Maple

The Norway Maple is a deciduous tree that grows to heights of 20–30 meters with a broad, rounded crown. Its bark is grey-brown and shallowly grooved. The leaves are opposite, palmately lobed with five lobes, and typically turn yellow in the fall. The flowers are small, yellow to yellow-green, and appear in early spring before the leaves emerge. The fruit is a double samara with two winged seeds.
